DAY 2 BOGOTÁ / CITY TOUR
We will take a guided tour of the city’s most iconic sites. The first stop is the historic center to walk through Plaza de Bolívar and the streets leading from it, where you can see buildings such as the National Capitol, the center of the country’s legislative life; the Casa de los Comuneros (House of Commoners); the Casa de Nariño (City of Nariño), the seat of the Presidency of the Republic; and the Santa Clara Church-Museum.
You will enter the Gold Museum, where some 34,000 pieces of goldsmithing from various pre-Hispanic cultures are exhibited, and then continue to the Casa Museo Quinta de Bolívar, where the Liberator Simón Bolívar lived.

DAY 3 BOGOTÁ / SALT CATHEDRAL TOUR, ZIPAQUIRA
The tour begins through the Bogotá savannah until reaching the city of Zipaquira, where in pre-Columbian times, salt springs were exploited in this region to produce “salt loaves,” a hard currency used by the Muisca to trade. Over time, technology changed, and they began to open tunnels to extract larger quantities of salt.
In these ancient underground galleries stands the Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral, 180 meters below the surface. There is a small miners’ chapel there in honor of the Virgin, Our Lady of the Rosary of Guasá (this word means “mine” in Chibcha). At the end of the tour, you will return to the hotel.

DAY 4 BOGOTA / VILLAVIEJA – TATACOA DESERT
1-hour private trip from Neiva to Villavieja.
Arrival in Villavieja and check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, we will pick you up at your hotel and set off on a tour of the Tatacoa Desert. We will begin in Cusco, considered the red part and with the greatest geomorphology, along the path of labyrinths, cathedrals, the tower, and the wishing tree.
Visit to the Los Hoyos area and the Valley of Dreams, where you will leave a memento of your visit to the desert by building a small altar in the rocks, which is also a pact of love and protection with nature and our planet.
At night, visit the astronomical observatory where you will survey the sky under the guidance of an astronomer. He will show you the millions of stars that make up the Milky Way and the different constellations that frame the firmament. Through telescopes, you will see details of the moon and some planets.

DAY 5 VILLAVIEJA / SAN AGUSTÍN NATURE AND ARCHAEOLOGY
Departure for San Agustín at 7:00 am (5-6 hour trip), private.
Check-in at your hotel. At 3:30 pm, we’ll pick you up at your hotel for the tour of the Magdalena River Strait, where our national river narrows to 2.20 meters in the middle of a canyon of astonishing beauty.

DAY 6 SAN AGUSTIN – ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK
At 8:00 am, we will tour the San Agustín Archaeological Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1995. Here, we will take a pleasant walk, immersing ourselves in the magic and legacy left to us by the pre-Columbian culture that inhabited the Alto Magdalena. We will visit Mesitas A, B, and C, the Lavapatas Fountain, the Lavapatas Hill, the Forest of Statues, and the Museum.
In the afternoon, we will take a coffee tour at Finca La Cabaña, winner of the Award for Excellence. Here, we will learn about the entire coffee process from seed to cup.

DAY 7 SAN AGUSTIN / PITALITO / COFFEE REGION
Breakfast. At 8:30 am, we begin our tour of natural and archaeological sites such as the El Tablón Sculptures and Ethnographic Museum, the Chaquira Lookout and Petroglyphs, where we will take a moment for meditation and enjoy the beautiful view of the Colombian Massif. We will then visit the only colored sculptures located in the Purutal area.

DAY 8 COFFEE AREA / COCORA VALLEY + SALENTO TOUR
The Cocora Valley is renowned worldwide and nationally for its beautiful landscape. Declared the First Natural Wonder of Quindío, it is one of Colombia’s most beautiful landscapes, framed by its wax palm trees, which measure over 60 meters, the tallest in the world and are the National Tree of Colombia.
We will enter the Wax Palm Park and We will appreciate in a fun and experiential way everything related to the birth, growth, conservation, preservation, and habitat of the Wax Palm and its natural environment, including cloud forests, nature trails, a river source, birdwatching, and the fauna and flora of the Cocora Valley. On this tour, you can plant a Wax Palm and thus contribute to the conservation of this emblematic species native to Colombia.
Afterwards, we will head to the beautiful town of Salento, one of Colombia’s main tourist destinations. We will walk its streets decorated with typical handicrafts from the Coffee Region, climbing to the Salento viewpoint to admire the coffee panorama.

DAY 9 COFFEE SHAFT / COFFEE FARM
We will take a guided tour of a beautiful coffee farm which is located in the rural area of Quindío, where you can take tours of paths surrounded by 12 hectares of top quality coffee plantations. La Finca allows you to know and learn about the coffee production process.

DAY 11 CARTAGENA / CITY TOUR
We will make a panoramic tour of the residential neighborhoods of Bocagrande, Castillogrande and the Republican neighborhood of Manga where you can see the antique mansions, continue with the visit to the Monastery of La Popa, built at the beginning of the 17th century on the cusp by two parents Agustinos Recoletos, this cloister was called “Convent of Our Lady of the Candelaria”. From the top you can see the heroic city.
Visit to the Fort of San Felipe de Barajas, the largest Spanish military building in the New World, originally built in 1536, being expanded according to need until 1657, magnificent military engineering work, where we will make a tour through its tunnels and underground galleries.
Then transfer to the walled city where there is a walk through the main streets, squares and churches of the city.

DAY 12 CARTAGENA – BARÚ TOUR
Tour Rosario Islands Barú, a whole day to enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in Colombia, crystal clear water and white sand. Enjoy the crystal clear waters and soft beaches of Playa Blanca, on Barú Island. On the way to your destination, you can admire several of the Rosario Islands.
Once in Playa Blanca, swim in its transparent waters, relax in the sun and enjoy a delicious Caribbean lunch.

DAY 14 TAYRONA PARK
Shared transfer Parque Tayrona round trip. All day you can enjoy its wonderful beaches.
We begin our day with the tour to Tayrona Park entering through the entrance of Zaino. We will walk 1 hour until we reach the most dangerous beach in Tayrona Park: Arrecife. Although you can’t enjoy the water, you can enjoy the scenery of the place that is very relaxing and beautiful. Includes tickets in National Park and transfers.
We continue the road to Playa la Piscina, which is one of the quietest beaches, since it is surrounded by a barrier of rocks that reduce the waves so you can swim a little.
Taking a little more strength, we follow the path that takes us to our final point. Cabo San Juan del Guía Beach, the most beautiful beach in the park. Here you can have a delicious lunch and enjoy the rest of the afternoon.

DAY 15 QUEBRADA VALENCIA – TAYRONAKA
Round trip transfer to Quebrada de Valencia, accompanied by our guide where you can enjoy a swim and a unique landscape in the waterfalls of Valencia, and then we will travel ecological paths while we encounter vestiges of settlements of our Tayrona culture; We will know their customs, traditions and lifestyle by taking a tour of a small, but very educational museum located in the area.
These settlements are located around the Don Diego River where you will be surprised by the thick vegetation and variety of fauna and flora of the place.
