DAY 1 HOMECOUNTRY / BOGOTÁ

Arrival at the Airport / Welcome from our representative / Transfer to the hotel.

DAY 2 BOGOTÁ / ZIPAQUIRÁ / CITY TOUR BY BOGOTÁ

Breakfast.
We leave for Zipaquirá, where you will visit the Salt Cathedral, a jewel of modern Colombian architecture. The grandeur of these delicately carved structures will surprise you. We will make a stop at the Diocesan Chapel among others.

Typical lunch.
Return to Bogotá to begin the tour of the city, where we will visit the most representative places in the Candelaria sector such as Plaza de Bolívar. Here we will enjoy important buildings of our country such as the National Capitol, the Presidential Palace, the Primate Cathedral and the Palace of Justice. From this point, we will tour colonial streets highlighted by their colonial architecture. We will enter the Gold Museum, the most important archaeological museum of its kind in the world, we will learn about pre-Columbian cultures and their lifestyle. We will finish the tour with entry to the Botero Museum.

DAY 3. BOGOTÁ/ LETICIA

Arrival at the Airport / Welcome from our representative / Transfer to the hotel.
We will take a private car tour through Leticia and Tabatinga; We will go to the Mirador de la Comara (Amazon River sunset). From there we will go to Santander Park in Leticia.
Dinner, night walk in the jungle (optional). Rest.

DAY 4. LETICIA / INDIGENOUS MALOKAS

Breakfast, we begin transportation by land to introduce ourselves to the current indigenous culture, walk in secondary tropical forests, casual visit to the malocas: Huitoto, Yukuna and Makuna, bathing in the Takana ravine, appreciation of traditional culture, architecture, food, rituals (use traditional coca and tobacco).
Lunch in a rural area.
Return to accommodation.

DAY 5 LETICIA / COFFEE AXIS / COFFEE FARM TOUR

We will take a guided tour through a beautiful coffee farm which is located in a rural area of the Municipality of Salento in Quindío, where you can take tours along trails surrounded by 12 hectares of top quality coffee plantations. The Ocaso farm allows you to get to know and Learn about the production process of Ocaso coffee.
A magical place that connects you with nature and the coffee culture, where you will live a unique experience. Learn about the process of planting, production, benefit, marketing and preparation. Come and pick coffee yourself and enjoy one of the best cups of coffee in Colombia. Also visit the tombs of the Quimbaya Indians and observe birds in a unique natural environment.

DAY 6. SALENTO / CÓCORA VALLEY

Breakfast, departure by Willys Jeep (typical transportation) to the Cócora Valley.
Following the steps of our guide during the walk, you will discover an unusual Valley where the “wax palms”, the national tree, give the landscape a surreal dimension. You will also penetrate the Andean rainforest, travel along rivers and appreciate exuberant nature.
Lunch in the Cócora Valley and return to Salento during the afternoon, where a guide will make you discover the town of Salento.
Night return to the hotel.

DAY 7 COFFEE AXIS/ CARTAGENA

Type lunch.
We will take a tour, accompanied by our guide, with which we will visit residential neighborhoods of Bocagrande, Castillogrande and the Republican neighborhood of Manga where you can see the mansions of the time, continue with the visit to the Monastery of La Popa Built at the beginning of the 17th century At the top by two Augustinian Recollect fathers, this cloister received the name “Convent of Our Lady of Candelaria.” From the top you can see the heroic city.
Visit to the Fort of San Felipe de Barajas, the largest Spanish military building in the New World, originally built in 1536, being expanded according to need until 1657, a magnificent work of military engineering, where we will take a tour through its tunnels and underground galleries.

Then transfer to the walled city where there is a walk through the main streets, squares and churches including the entrance to the Palace of the Inquisition.

Return to the hotel at 6:00 in the afternoon.

Day 8 CARTAGENA / BARÚ

Breakfast. Transfer by road to this beautiful area, where you can see a white sand beach, crystal clear water, where you can spend a pleasant day sunbathing and relaxing.
Afternoon return to the hotel in Cartagena.

DAY 9. CARTAGENA/ BOGOTÁ

Breakfast, transfer to the airport to take a flight to Bogotá and from there to your country of origin.
