DAY 1 MADRID / BOGOTÁ

DAY 2 BOGOTÁ / CITY TOUR

Breakfast. Guided tour of the most representative places of the city, the first stop is in the historic center to walk through the Plaza de Bolívar and the streets that depart from there, where you can see buildings such as the National Capitol, center of legislative life from the country; The House of Comuneros; the Casa de Nariño, headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic; and the Church Museum of Santa Clara.

You will enter the Gold Museum, where about 34,000 pieces of goldsmiths from various pre-Hispanic cultures are exhibited and then go to the Quinta de Bolívar House Museum, where the Liberator Simón Bolívar lived.

DAY 5 MEDELLÍN / TOUR PEÑOL DE GUATAPÉ

Breakfast. We begin transfer by land in the direction of El Peñol Guatapé, this beautiful town located only 79 km from Medellín, an attractive tourist destination for those who like small colonial cities full of traditions and beautiful places.

Here we find the Rock of Guatapé, an immense stone with 220 meters high where you can see all the landscape that surrounds the area such as the Lake of the Dam and the town of Guatapé. Private tour, includes lunch. Duration: nine hours.

DAY 6 MEDELLÍN / EJE CAFETERO

Breakfast. Departure, Transfer to the airport to take your flight to Pereira.

DAY 7 EJE CAFETERO / TOUR VALLE DEL COCORA + SALENTO

Breakfast. The Cocora Valley is recognized worldwide and nationally for its beautiful landscape. Declared First Natural Wonder of Quindío, it is one of the most beautiful landscapes of Colombia framed by its wax palms that measure more 60 meters, the highest in the world and are the National Tree of Colombia.

We will enter the Parque de la Palma de Cera and we will appreciate in a playful and experiential way everything related to the birth, growth, conservation, preservation and habitat of the Palma de Cera and its natural environment between Bosques de Niebla, nature trails, river of birth, bird watching, fauna and flora of the Cocora Valley. On this tour you can plant a Wax Palm and thus contribute to the conservation of this emblematic species native to Colombia.

Later we go to the beautiful town of Salento, municipality that one of the main tourist destinations of Colombia, to travel its streets decorated with typical crafts of the Coffee Axis, going up to the Salento viewpoint to see the coffee panorama.

Visit to the Coffee Farm, we will take a guided tour of the beautiful coffee farm which is located in the rural area of Quindío, where you can take tours of trails surrounded by 12 hectares of top quality coffee plantations. DAY 10 CARTAGENA / CITY TOUR

Breakfast. We will make a panoramic tour of the residential neighborhoods of Bocagrande, Castillogrande and the Republican neighborhood of Manga where you can see the houses of the time, continue with the visit to the Monastery of the Stern, built in the early seventeenth century on the cusp for two Augustinian Recollect fathers, this cloister was called “Convent of Our Lady of the Candelaria”.

From the top you can see the heroic city.

Visit to the Fort of San Felipe de Barajas, the largest Spanish military building in the New World, originally built in 1536, being expanded according to need until 1657, magnificent military engineering work, where we will make a tour through its tunnels and underground galleries.

DAY 11 CARTAGENA / TOUR ISLA DEL ROSARIO, PLAYA BARÚ

Breakfast. Rosario Barú Islands Tour, a whole day to enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in Colombia, crystal clear water and white sand.

Enjoy the crystal clear waters and soft beaches of Playa Blanca, on Barú Island.

On the way to your destination, you can admire several of the Rosario Islands.

Once in Playa Blanca, swim in its transparent waters, relax in the sun and enjoy a delicious Caribbean lunch. Shared with lunch. Duration: eight hours.

DAY 12 CARTAGENA / SANTA MARTA – TAYRONA PARK AREA

Land transfer from Cartagena to the city of Santa Marta, a trip of about 5 hours in which you can enjoy the characteristic landscapes of the Caribbean coast.

DAY 13 TAYRONA PARK

Breakfast. Shared transfer Tayrona Park round trip. All day you can enjoy these wonderful beaches. Includes tickets in National Park and transfers.

We begin our day with the tour to Tayrona Park entering through the entrance of Zaino. We will walk 1 hour until we reach the most dangerous beach in Tayrona Park: Arrecife. Although you can’t enjoy the water, you can enjoy the scenery of the place that is very relaxing and beautiful.

We continue the way to Playa la Piscina, which is one of the quietest beaches, since it is surrounded by a barrier of rocks that reduce the waves so you can swim a little.

Taking a little more strength, we follow the path that takes us to our final point. Cabo San Juan del Guía Beach, the most beautiful beach in the park.

Here you can have a delicious lunch and enjoy the rest of the afternoon.
We recommend you take the trail back at 3pm or 4pm in the afternoon.
