This unique journey will allow you to know the history and indigenous culture of the colonization and literature of this little explored region of the Orinoco River, while enjoying its great biological richness and natural beauty.

DAY 1

 

After arriving at the airport of the city of Inírida, this pleasant tour will begin in navigating the great Inírida river where you will appreciate pleasant landscapes of this region. You will reach the great hills of Mavecure where at the foot of one of these you will be greeted in the most pleasant way by a puinave host in the backwater community.

The rest of the afternoon you can enjoy entirely the great beaches that this river has, it should be noted that there is a great possibility that in it you can see the pink dolphin, an endangered species, to end the day, you will have dinner while enjoying the intriguing stories of the inhabitants of this indigenous community.

DAY 2

 

After having breakfast you will start with the first activity of the day which will be the ascent through the Mavicuna hill where you can appreciate the beauty of it, and then undertake a trip of approximately 100KM along the Atabapo, Guaviare and Inírida river or also known as the southern fluvial star. where we can observe a variety of natural spices typical of the region.

Lunch will be taken and the afternoon will be taken free in the indigenous community where if you like it you can do some of the activities (water sports, kayaking or swimming) in the afternoon hours the food will be taken and then continue with a special narration of stories of this culture around a campfire.

 

DAY 3

 

After having breakfast, a purely ecological tour will be carried out in which the diversity of flora and fauna of the community of Caño Raya and the region, birds of various species and possibly like deer and jaguars will be announced and then made an ethnobotanical tour where the native plants will be known and the use that the native community gives them.

At the end, lunch will be taken in the community and then resume activities with a tour of the Atabapo River where the sustainable use of ornamental fish and with an opportunity to fish it will be known.

If you like it, you can also do activities like kayaking on the great beaches of the river.

DAY 4

 

After having breakfast, you will go to the sacred caves of the Indigenous Piarias, through the day, two departments will be known which will be Guainía and Vichada in the same way thanks to the river two nations being Colombia and Venezuela, the tour will continue through the Orinoco River until we reach the spring community where a short walk will take place along an ecological path and thus ascend to the sacred cave of the community, we will continue this route until we reach the community of artisans of Laja Lisa.

Lunch will be taken in Amanave in the department of Vichada and then continue with the tour in the Atabapo River to the community of Caño Ray Stripe Yampetepe.

The day culminates with a dinner while you delight in the intriguing narratives of the inhabitants of this indigenous community.

DAY 5

 

The tour will begin to the cave paintings, tour of paintings reflected in the rocks of the river and pipes strategically.

Lunch will be taken to undertake the journey to the city of Inírida where in the lagoons of Matraca and the lagoon of the witches you will have the opportunity to see the pink dolphins.

DAY 6

 

Breakfast will be taken to then start with a brief tour of the community of new coconut and old coconut and then start a tour of the Amaru rock park, wildlife reserve that protects more than 900 species of animals.

Relevant information will be provided about the paintings carved in the rocks and if you want, before completing the tour you can make handicrafts purchases and then head to the Cesar Gaviria Trujillo airport and thus complete with the service.
