DAY 1 ORIGIN COUNTRY / CALI / GUAPI

 

Arrival at the airport / Welcome from our representative / Transfer to the pier.Then we will depart by boat for 1 hour and 30 minutes until we reach Gorgona and the cabins.

 

DAY 2 GORGONA. WHALE MEETING DEPARTURE

 

Breakfast. Once thousands of kilometers swim from the south pole to the tropical Pacific, the Humpback Whales choose the Colombian Pacific coast for the warmth of its waters.

A perfect environment to mate and give birth to their young as the temperature of the ocean in this area of the continent resembles the natural temperature of their bellies, a comfortable place to be born.

The attraction for visitors is to admire its jumps, water jets, large tails, fins raised to the sky and small whales born in the warm sea.

Departures are coordinated directly on the site according to the number of people.Return to the cabins after 2 hours.Lunch and dinner.

DAY 3 GORGONA / PALMERAS BEACH / YUNDIGUA BEACH

 

Breakfast. Visit Las Palmeras beach, an extensive beach of clear sand, the warm sea with small waves to relax.

The island has several endemic species, among which the blue lizard stands out. Playa Palmeras represents one of the mating, breeding and / or feeding points of migratory species such as humpback whales, sea turtles and seabirds. Duration: 3 hours.

Then you will embark on a walk through the jungle to explore the La Chonta trail and also visit the Yundigua beach, accompanied by an expert guide, interpreter of the benefits and mysteries of this privileged ecosystem in species, biodiversity and abundance.

In the afternoon and after lunch, you will walk through the jungle to the famous abandoned prison of Gorgona, place of many legends and stories that date back to the time when the island was one of the most feared prisons in Colombia and that today, is being recovered by thenature.

DAY 4 GORGONA / CALI / COUNTRY OF ORIGIN

 

Breakfast. Transfer Gorgona – Dock to return by boat to the pier where we will then be taken by land to Guapi airport.
