Tour the Colombian Amazon with specialized guides, you will realize the way of life and other attractions that you can meet and enjoy in the jungle. It also shares with the animals of the area and with our border neighbors of Brazil.
Arrival at the airport / Welcome from our representative / Transfer to the hotel.
Upon arrival we check into the hotel and go out to explore Leticia, during the tour the guide will tell you about how the city of Leticia was built; he will also know the customs of the natives of the area, the economic life of the city and the fraternal ties with the other border cities. (Approximate duration 2 hours).
After this we will return to the hotel to rest.
Breakfast, for this day we will go out to make one of the most interesting excursions that we will find in the Amazon, the excursion passes through the great Amazon River, where you can appreciate and admire the diversity of ecosystems and the life that emanates from the river. During the first stage of this excursion, you will visit a reserve where you can see the largest lotus in the world. (approximately 40 minutes). Then we head to the island of the monkeys, this is the perfect place to enjoy the impressive and fascinating fauna and flora while exploring hidden waterways through the tropical jungle. (Approximate duration 1:30 min) Upstream, we are going to visit an indigenous community in Macedonia, the Tikuna tribe! This is the perfect place to admire the crafts designed and made by the inhabitants, (approximate duration 1 hour).
After the visit to Macedonia, the next stop is Puerto Nariño and Lake Tarapotos. Puerto Nariño is a small town 87 kilometers from Leticia, at the mouth of the Loretoyaco River, which meets the Amazon River, here we will have lunch (which is not included in the rate).
After lunch a nice and pleasant walk through the village is taken with your guide. They will be visiting Lake Tarapotos, 5 minutes from Puerto Nariño by boat to see the lake and maybe see dolphins!
We finish our tour in Puerto Alegría, a small city on the border with Peru, whose inhabitants live from fishing and tourism. Here, visitors can appreciate and take photos with some locals such as the Matamata turtles, monkeys, sloths and macaws (approximate duration 1:30 min).
Late in the afternoon we return to the hotel to have dinner and rest.
Breakfast, travel to the airport to take a flight to Bogotá and from there to your country of origin.
